Halo 3 - By Shadow Link
I know this game has been out for yonks but I felt like reviewing it so shutup.
Halo has always been quite an interesting game series, it has shown us how far the gaming industry has changed from the release of the first halo till now, we have progressed absolutely backwards. Halo 1 was a decent game, had a little gameplay and some fun multiplayer being able to play LAN games eat pizza and own the sh*t out of your friends and brag about it holding that crouch button over their dead ass and acting like a necrophiliac just to get attention, it was a good time but has long passed now.
The problem with halo 2 was that the game was mainly focused on the multi-player, the single-player was pretty average, no way near as good as halo 1 and the only reason why I kept the game on my shelf (in once piece), was because of the multi-player. This is the selling point of the game and the reason why the particular series is doing so well.
Halo 3 has not progressed far from Halo 2, on the xbox-live side there is still very terrible lag, cheaters, and people who wont shut the hell up but I guess that's just xboxlive which is full of ass fu*king dick holes who don't know when to put duck tape over their own mouth, on the single-player side, you'll only get 4-5 hours out of the game, and more depending on what difficulty setting you have the game on, but to be frankly honest the single-player side is just a complete drag, there is nothing shown in the game that you haven't really already seen and or experienced.
Halo 3's graphics didn't even keep up with our 'current' generation, Microsoft said all games have to be HD on the Xbox360, however Halo 3 was not actually HD, which is amazing considering it was actually made by Microsoft (Bungie).
Now the gameplay was not very good either, they have kept the same boring gameplay/controls and feel to it since Halo 1 and it has only become repetitive rather then exciting, a lot of the single-player levels make me say to myself "for goodness sake, end already" but no they keep going with senseless cut-scenes and random occurrences of the "flood" which piss me off enough already, it almost reminds me of playing half-life except they have added quite a lot of 'annoying' to it.
All in all I give this a WoW type of experience that you can't put your controller down for no matter how bored you are, 6/10 It could of seriously done better with the single-player, well actually to be honest they should of just cut it completely and just had multiplayer since it would of been a lot cheaper and really it's the only thing that anyone really cares about anyway.
