Pirates of the Caribbean 3: At Worlds End - By Silverline

When the first Pirates movie came out, I went to see it at the cinema and I loved it. The characters were great, the plot was great, it was certainly a great movie. The ending left us on a small cliff-hanger, since we had no idea where Captain Jack went after his... fall. After this it was obvious a second movie would be released, and it was. Dead Mans Chest was fantastic, it followed up the storyline well, most characters in the first one are seen in the second one, and best of all, it left us on a second, much larger cliff-hanger. Now i'm not gonna spoil what it is, but after this it was inevitable that a third would be released, and so it was!

I never saw Pirates of the Caribbean 3 in a cinema, instead this time I waited for the DVD to be released. The opening sequence didn't fail to amaze me. It picks up the story almost right where we left it, and the introduction is both humorous and action packed.

Again all of the characters we have grown to love over the last 2 movies are still there, including a few villains. Jack Sparrow once again always manages to make a joke out of the worst of situations, which is great. However I think that his character wasn't as 'In the Spotlight' as he was in the other two movies. I suppose it differs between people but I didn't like that since the character Jack Sparrow is bloody hilarious.

You will find that the story in this one is a little bit harder to follow than in the others, and what I didn't like is the way totally new story concepts are shoved into your mind at once, if your not following the movie word for word you may not understand certain pieces of the plot.

Once again, the movie ends on a cliff hanger, and it is so obvious that there will be a fourth, however the plotline formed in the previous films wont follow, seeing as pretty much all of the loose ends were tied up in Pirates 3. Its a movie full of many twists and turns, and I definitely suggest you rent it out, or by the DVD or something. (downloading IS ILLEGAL KIDDIES!) (lol)
